About Zach
Zach Burt serves as General Counsel for TS Banking Group and has a wide variety of legal experiences. Zach started his legal career as an Associate Attorney at the law firm of Harris, Finley & Bogle, PC in Fort Worth, Texas where he represented both large and small companies in various civil litigation matters. Prior to his role with TS Banking Group, Zach has worked in-house for companies such as Union Pacific and Bank of Oklahoma (BOKF Financial). Zach has also served as a prosecutor in the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office located in Fort Worth, Texas.
Prior to teaching at Creighton, Zach has taught courses as an adjunct professor at Texas A&M School of Law. Zach graduated from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (n/k/a/ Texas A&M University School of Law) in 2009. He is licensed to practice law in Texas, Nebraska, and Iowa. Zach and his wife, Jenny, and children reside in rural southwest Iowa.
