About Josh
As CEO and former CFO and Director of TS Banking Group, Josh has been a driving force behind the organization’s growth and strategic direction since joining in 2003. His leadership has centered on two core priorities: proactively managing company culture and stewarding the balance sheet. In 2013, he spearheaded the launch of a multi-bank acquisition strategy through the formation of a second bank holding company, aiming to expand TS Banking Group’s footprint across the upper Midwest.
Under Josh’s leadership, TS Bank has grown from a $50 million institution to a $465 million community bank, earning national recognition for its performance and innovation. The organization has expanded services with TS Prosperity Group, Collins Consulting and TS Ag Finance, as well as promoted financial wellness since 2009. Josh also co-founded TS REIS, Inc. and TS Capital, LLC—non-banking affiliates managing $40 million in assets and over 1,000 property units. With an MBA in Finance and Strategic Planning from Iowa State University and a Professional Masters of Banking from LSU, Josh brings a diverse background in agriculture, manufacturing, and finance. He also serves on several boards and teaches at the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado.
Josh remains deeply committed to community service, having served on numerous charitable and industry boards, including the Iowa Bankers Association, Heartland Family Service, and eight years on the Treynor Community Schools Board of Education. He currently serves as a trustee for the Iowa Bankers Benefit Plan and as a director for Olsson Associates Engineering. Outside of work, Josh manages a 500-head commercial Angus/Limousin herd that initially began as a 4-H project. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Shelly and their four children and two grandchildren.
